Your First Appointment in Nelson Tasman

In your first appointment, we will take a thorough health history, discuss your superficial health conditions as well as your deep health conditions. We will then figure out what your health goals are and put together a plan and timeline to help you successfully achieve these goals. We will then perform a thorough Neurostructural examination, and if necessary, regional examinations. This is all to ensure that you are in the right place and gives us an opportunity to see how we can deliver the safest chiropractic care in Nelson Tasman to you. We recommend you wear fitness attire for this visit, but it is not necessary. This visit will be 30-45 minutes and will include the following:

Next Steps in Nelson Tasman

If we have findings in your history and physical exam that may need further investigation, we may refer you to get x-rays taken from a local radiologist down the road from us.

You will then be given a care plan to allow you to get closer to reaching your health goals. Regular follow up appointments will be 10 minute appointments where we check and adjust your spine and continue the momentum from your previous visit. The repetition, frequency and specificity will allow your body to have long lasting changes and ensure your body is subluxation free.

Upon completion of your care plan, you will have a re-examination- where you will be re-assessed and re-measured to compare the difference and changes from your initial consultation. It is at these re-examination visits that our practice members see how far they have come, and appreciate their positive health changes with chiropractic care and begin wellness care.

Testing and analysis described above will be performed where and when necessary, and altered on a case by case scenario.
